About The Position
Serves as a health system courier, picking up and delivering mail, linen, supplies, and lab specimens to and from off-site locations. The role requires driving hospital-owned vans, familiarity with area roads, speed limits, and local transportation laws, and the ability to adhere to delivery schedules. The position is per diem, with days, evenings, and some weekends.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid New York State driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to drive hospital-owned vans.
- Familiarity with area roads, speed limits, and local transportation laws.
- Highly motivated, customer-service-oriented self-starter who can work independently.
- Sound decision-making skills.
- Creative and self-directed learner.
- Clean, neat appearance.
