About The Position

Labcorp is seeking a Courier to join its team in Memphis, Tennessee. The role is responsible for picking up, transporting, and delivering medical specimens, laboratory supplies, and reports while providing excellent service to clients. A company vehicle is provided for the route; employees may opt to take it home and use it for personal purposes for $125 per month. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 12:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., with rotating weekends. No education or experience is required. Preferred qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of driver or courier experience, and at least one year of customer service experience. Applicants must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record, be at least 21 years old, and be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Employees regularly scheduled for 20 or more hours per week are eligible for benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, short- and long-term disability, 401(k), paid time off or flexible time off, tuition reimbursement, and an employee stock purchase plan. Eligibility varies for employees working fewer than 20 hours and for certain other schedules or employment categories.

Requirements

No education or experience is required.
Have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Be at least 21 years old.
Be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Demonstrate punctuality and strong time-management skills.
Have strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Be able to problem-solve customer issues.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Load all supplies needed for daily pickups.
Complete the daily pickup schedule in a timely manner.
Deliver all daily pickups to the branch at the end of the shift.
Handle specimens and laboratory samples safely and efficiently.
Safely operate a company vehicle and obey traffic laws.
Use a handheld electronic device to manage daily pickups.
Work with the dispatcher to handle additional pickups as needed.
Evaluate traffic patterns, alternative routes, and weather conditions as needed.
Pick up, transport, and deliver medical specimens, laboratory supplies, and reports while providing excellent client service.
