About The Position

Join Columbia County Children & Youth as a County Casework Supervisor and help lead a team that protects and supports local families. This role gives you the chance to coach caseworkers, handle challenging situations, and provide direction when it matters most. Requirements

• Two years of professional experience in public or private social work and a bachelor's degree with major course work in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences; or Any equivalent combination of experience and education which includes 12 college credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences.
• Meet the PA residency requirement.
• Able to perform essential job functions.
• Satisfactory criminal history reports including, but not limited to, PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance.

Responsibilities

• Assign casework, review documentation, and ensure compliance with policies
• Investigate concerns, assess risk, and guide families to helpful referral services
• Communicate with attorneys, foster parents, and service providers to support families
• Share agency information with community groups and participate on committees
• Provide direct casework during difficult situations to assist children, youth, and families
• Perform additional tasks as needed to assist agency operations
