This position is responsible for directly supervising caseworkers who support children, youth, and families in need of ongoing Child Abuse or General Protective Services while ensuring all legal, policy, and procedural standards are met. As a County Casework Supervisor, you will perform the following duties: Staff Oversight: Supervise caseworkers who provide ongoing services to children, youth, and families; hold weekly casework conferences; and review all casework dictation, plans, and overall employee performance Service Planning: Supervise and participate in the planning and provision of in-home and placement services; coordinate and lead review team meetings Court Preparation: Ensure compliance with legal benchmarks and achieving timely permanency for children in placement, prepare caseworkers for court, and monitor compliance with court orders Compliance Monitoring: Track all forms, deadlines, and related work for compiling statistical information. Training Support: Provide ongoing instruction on agency policies, procedures, and best practices to new and existing workers; contribute to the unit’s annual development plan Community Connection: Represent the agency and the people we serve by participating in task forces and committees.
