About The Position

This position provides supervision and administrative support for casework teams and assists in maintaining effective and compliant service delivery. As a County Casework Manager 1, you will perform the following duties: Staff Supervision: Provide guidance, conduct formal reviews, and oversee decisions made by assigned supervisors Record Review: Examine case records to ensure compliance with regulations and quality standards Policy Support: Assist in developing and updating agency policies, procedures, and annual planning documents Administrative Duties: Prepare documents, attend meetings, and manage correspondence as required Confidentiality Oversight: Maintain strict adherence to all confidentiality rules inside and outside the office On-Call Coverage: Perform assigned administrative on-call responsibilities

Requirements

  • Three years of experience in public or private social work which included one year in a public welfare program and one year in a supervisory capacity
  • A bachelor's degree which includes or is supplemented by 12 college credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences
  • Any equivalent combination of experience and training which includes 12 college credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences
  • Meet the PA residency requirement
  • Be able to perform essential job functions
  • Pass a background investigation
  • Pass a drug screening
  • Satisfactory criminal history reports including, but not limited to, PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance
