About The Position

Auto-Wares Group of Companies is hiring a full-time Counterperson for its Bumper to Bumper team. The role focuses on helping customers identify automotive parts and solutions, delivering efficient and accurate service, and contributing to store operations. The Counterperson uses product knowledge and a customer-focused approach to provide a positive experience and support the team in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in the automotive field.
• Customer-focused approach and strong communication skills.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license.
• No major driving violations.
• No more than two moving violations in the past 3 years if over age 25, or in the past 5 years if under age 25.
• No more than one at-fault accident.
• Must comply with all physical requirements, including a pre-employment physical and drug test.
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds with both arms.

Responsibilities

• Establish positive experiences with every customer interaction.
• Conduct activities with a customer-focused perspective and provide efficient, accurate expertise.
• Finalize sales through phone calls, in-person communication, and other methods.
• Develop thorough knowledge of the parts and services offered to customers.
• Offer customers all available product options and exemplify the company’s “Never Say No” values.
• Help store personnel maintain a clean and organized store appearance.
• Process returns and assist newer store personnel.
