About The Position

Muchacho Reynoldstown is hiring experienced Counter Servers. This role has substantial direct guest contact and involves greeting guests, answering the phone, taking accurate orders, and delivering completed orders with a positive attitude. Counter Servers also describe menu items, provide information about beverages and ingredients, assist with food preparation and service, prepare beverages, maintain clean and sanitized work areas, monitor equipment temperatures, stock stations, and operate payment equipment.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience.
• Excellent communication skills to connect effectively with customers and co-workers.
• Ethics and a positive attitude that support the company’s values and culture.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and organize.
• Ability and stamina to work a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Ability to stand and walk for 6 hours per day.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 pounds.
• Must frequently reach, feel, bend, stoop, carry, finely manipulate, and key in data.
• Must be able to work in warm and cool environments, indoors and outdoors.
• Must be able to tolerate higher levels of noise from music and customer traffic.
• Must be able to tolerate potential allergens, including peanut products, egg, dairy, gluten, soy, seafood, and shellfish.

Responsibilities

• Describe menu items to customers or suggest drinks that may appeal to their taste.
• Provide customers with information such as coffee blend, preparation techniques, ingredients, and allergen information.
• Assist with preparing and serving food items as needed.
• Prepare and serve beverages, from coffee and tea to specialty drinks.
• Clean and sanitize work areas, utensils, and equipment according to health and sanitation standards.
• Check temperatures of freezers, refrigerators, and heating equipment to ensure proper functionality.
• Uphold company safety and sanitation requirements to protect the health and safety of guests and team members.
• Stock stations with paper products or beverage preparation items as necessary.
• Operate cash registers and credit card machines.
• Greet guests, answer the phone, take accurate orders, and deliver completed orders with a positive attitude.
