About The Position

Aramsco is seeking a friendly, knowledgeable, and customer-focused Counter Sales Representative in Franklin Park, Illinois. The role provides service to internal and external customers, assists with product inquiries and sales, and maintains an organized and welcoming showroom. The position is suited to someone who enjoys helping others, works well with a team, and can thrive in a fast-paced retail or distribution setting. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Compensation is $22–$23 per hour, with possible overtime. The role is full-time. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Ability to stay organized and detail-oriented while multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to regularly lift and carry 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

At least 2 years of customer service or counter sales experience.
Experience in janitorial, restoration, remediation, carpet cleaning, or installation industries.
Bilingual English/Spanish skills.
Cash handling and basic accounting experience.

Responsibilities

Greet and assist walk-in customers professionally and courteously.
Provide product information, recommendations, and demonstrations.
Process sales orders, returns, and transactions accurately.
Handle cash and credit transactions, prepare deposits, and follow standard procedures.
Keep the showroom and counter area clean, organized, and welcoming.
Stock shelves in the showroom and stockroom as needed.
Respond promptly to customer inquiries by phone, email, or in person.
Assist with educational classes, including setup and cleanup.
Make courtesy calls to class attendees and follow up with past-due accounts as directed.
Collaborate with team members and other departments to support customer satisfaction and smooth operations.
