About The Position

The Counter Sales Associate is the welcoming point of contact for contractors purchasing electrical products at the branch. The role helps customers quickly locate and obtain products so they can return to their job sites. It involves taking orders, assisting customers in person and through other channels, providing product information, loading orders, and supporting the warehouse as needed. Product training is provided.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 75 pounds while moving with equipment.
• Basic computer skills for entering orders.
• Willingness to learn about products through on-the-job training.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice To Haves

• Previous sales or retail experience.
• Previous customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Take orders in person, over the phone, and through email.
• Greet and assist customers as they enter the branch.
• Work with customers to fulfill order requests.
• Load orders into customers’ vehicles or delivery trucks.
• Provide product information to customers.
• Assist colleagues in the back-of-store warehouse as needed.
