About The Position

Viking Electric is hiring a full-time Counter Sales Associate at its Sheboygan, Wisconsin branch. The associate serves as a welcoming point of contact for contractors purchasing electrical products and helps customers find the products they need. The role includes taking and fulfilling orders, answering product questions, loading orders, and assisting in the warehouse as needed. Product training is provided.

The schedule is 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, and overtime may be available. The hourly pay range is $23 to $28. Compensation also includes a short-term incentive bonus and a full benefits package; base pay may vary depending on experience, skills, and location.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 75 pounds while moving with equipment.
• Basic computer skills for entering orders.
• Willingness to learn about products through on-the-job training.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice To Haves

• Previous sales or retail experience.
• Previous customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Take orders in person, over the phone, and through email.
• Greet and assist customers entering the branch.
• Work with customers to fulfill order requests.
• Load orders into customers’ vehicles or delivery trucks.
• Provide product information to customers; training is provided.
• Assist colleagues in the back-of-store warehouse as needed.
