About The Position

Bloomingdale’s Cosmetic Beauty Advisors provide excellent service and sell the full assortment both in store and online. The role focuses on building and maintaining client relationships through outstanding service and product knowledge while maintaining compelling merchandise presentation. Beauty Advisors offer makeup application lessons, skin care consultations and treatments, and current trend advice. They are welcoming, friendly, and engaged, keep energy alive on the sales floor, and prioritize customer needs.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous selling experience; cosmetics experience is preferred.
Ability to read and interpret instructional documents, including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
Ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.

Previous selling experience in cosmetics.

Drive sales with in-store and online clients by embracing and using technology proficiently.
Participate in merchandising and operational requirements.
