About The Position

The Cosmetics Beauty Advisor works on Bloomingdale’s cosmetics floor, providing excellent customer service and selling the store’s assortment both in person and online. The role focuses on building and maintaining client relationships through outstanding service and product knowledge while maintaining compelling merchandise presentation. The advisor offers makeup application lessons, skincare consultations and treatments, and current trend advice. The advisor is welcoming, friendly, and engaged, keeps the sales floor energetic, and prioritizes customer needs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous selling experience.
• Ability to read and interpret instructional documents, including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
• Ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.

Nice To Haves

• Previous selling experience in cosmetics is preferred.
