About The Position

The Cosmetics Beauty Advisor provides excellent service and sells Bloomingdale’s assortment to in-store and online customers. The role focuses on building and maintaining client relationships through outstanding service and product knowledge while maintaining compelling merchandise presentation. The advisor provides makeup application lessons, skin care consultations and treatments, and expert, current trend advice. They are welcoming, friendly, and engaged, keep excitement alive on the sales floor, and put customers’ needs first.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous selling experience; cosmetics experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret instructional documents, including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
• Ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.

Nice To Haves

• Previous cosmetics selling experience.
