About The Position

Carvana is seeking an entry-level Cosmetic Inspector to identify cosmetic imperfections and repairs before reconditioning and after the paint process. The role may also include vehicle preparation tasks such as sanding and masking. The work takes place in a high-tech vehicle inspection center, in a fast-paced, changing production environment that may involve exposure to hot or cold weather. Safety equipment may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment. Training programs are offered to help entry-level employees develop their skills and progress in pay. Hiring is contingent on passing a background check. This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must possess a valid driver's license; some positions may be subject to a motor vehicle records check.
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Must be able to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools and lift up to 60 pounds independently.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment, sometimes with exposure to excessive heat or cold.
Must use safety equipment as required, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check.
