About The Position

Carvana is hiring an Entry-Level Cosmetic Inspector to identify cosmetic imperfections and repairs before reconditioning and after the paint process. The role may also involve preparing, sanding, and masking vehicles. Inspectors work in a fast-paced production environment at one of Carvana’s high-tech vehicle Inspection Centers. Training programs are available for entry-level employees to support skill and pay progression.

Carvana reconditions, inspects, perfects, and photographs vehicles before listing them on its website. This role requires physical operation of vehicle equipment and tools and may involve exposure to heat or cold. Hiring is contingent on passing a background check. The role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license; some positions may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Records check.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must be able to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools and lift up to 60 pounds independently.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment, sometimes with exposure to excessive heat or cold.
• Must use required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
• Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check.
• The role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
