About The Position

LKQ Corporation is seeking a motivated Core Processing Warehouse Worker to perform warehouse receiving, stocking, order picking, packing, shipping, and inventory organization tasks. The role may involve operating manual or powered equipment to move products throughout the warehouse. The position does not include supervisory responsibilities.

Requirements

• Up to 1 year of work-related experience.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to communicate basic messages orally, write brief messages, and keep simple records.
• Ability to follow clear directions, standard procedures, and guidance from a supervisor or manager.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to perform the listed physical activities, which may include standing, walking, pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, reaching, climbing stairs, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or sitting for extended periods.
• Ability to work in cramped spaces or underneath vehicles and assume awkward positions.
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment as needed.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience in a warehouse or similar work environment.
• Prior powered industrial truck (PIT) experience, such as operating a forklift or order picker.

Responsibilities

• Receive inbound product and put it away in designated locations.
• Pick or pull the correct product from appropriate locations and deliver it to the staging area or delivery truck.
• Operate manual or powered equipment to transport product in and around the warehouse.
• Sort and place parts and supplies on racks, shelves, or in bins according to a predetermined sequence.
• Maintain orderliness and housekeeping in assigned work areas.
• Comply with established company policies and procedures.
• Assume other duties as assigned.
