About The Position

Sorts, cleans, prices, and stocks donated goods in a Goodwill store. Accepts donations and assists on the sales floor as needed, providing excellent customer service to donors and customers. The role supports Goodwill’s mission of using resalable donated goods to fund job readiness training and employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities and barriers to employment. Pay is $18.00 an hour.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of recent experience or successful graduation from a GISD employment program.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Knowledge of quality clothing and merchandise famous brand names preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sort, inspect, clean, price, and tally donations for the sales floor.
• Push racks and carts to the retail floor, assist with stocking, and pull merchandise.
• Open and close the donations area; accept and safeguard donations; keep processing and donation areas clean, safe, and organized.
• Provide excellent customer service to donors and customers.
• Assist truck helpers and drivers with loading and unloading trucks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
