About the position
This role is for a conceptual Social Media Copywriter who will work as part of a team for an FMCG client, reporting into the Creative Director. The ideal candidate is a German Native Speaker with strong English skills who has experience writing for digital and is comfortable creating short and long-form content with Social Media in mind. The focus areas will be to write social media short copy and engaging medical online articles, create compelling communication concepts to detailed sales materials for global consumer brands. The role is currently remote with an option to stay remote.
Responsibilities
- Work with the creative team
- Write, research and conceptualize creative, innovative content that engages and encourages sharing
- Produce short and long form materials for consumers, across a wide range of media including social media, digital sales material, websites, videos and animations, digital media, POS, sales materials and print
- Experience in repurposing existing content for different uses and markets
- Experience in applying a variety of brand voices
- Deliver projects closely with the Creative Director and Digital Designers to ensure creative excellence
- Awareness of relevant trending topics and news to identify content opportunities
- Ensure consistency and quality across all written content
- Develop and maintain reference packs and proof-reading documents, providing constructive input and applying them to assets being developed.
Requirements
- Native German Speaker with excellent English Skills
- Strong experience writing for digital. Must be comfortable creating short and long-form content with Social Media in mind.
- A thorough understanding of the language and needs inherent to write for healthcare brands
- Experience of writing for digital, display, social media channels and websites.
- Able to use data and insight to inform creative copy.
- The ability to think conceptually. Experience working as part of a traditional creative team (designer and copywriter) would be helpful.
