About The Position

Performs supervisory and coordinative work in the operation of a specific program or departmental project. Coordinates and supervises functions and aspects of a program, monitors program staff and operational procedures, and works under general supervision, with performance evaluated based on results. May supervise program staff, volunteers, and student assistants. This role supports the coordination, planning, promotion, logistics, and facilitation of International Student Life events and programs, as well as program calendars, student groups, communications, reporting, and committee work.

Requirements

High school graduation.
Five years of progressively responsible related experience; additional related education may substitute for required experience on a year-for-year basis.

Responsibilities

Coordinate, plan, promote, and facilitate International Student Life events and programs, including making reservations and coordinating logistics.
Support preparation, planning, and execution of semester and program calendars.
Assist with International Student Orientation and graduations.
Support programs including airport pickup, Cultural Exchange, and the Cultural Ambassadors program.
Attend and assist with International Student Life events, programs, and trips.
Serve as primary advisor to international student groups such as Students for Global Connections, and support programs such as Global Guides.
Assist with purchasing event supplies and promotional materials.
Assist with the International Student Life general email account.
Support the Program Coordinator with quantitative measurement metrics and assist with program reports.
Serve on the TPEG and EMT committees that support international students in need.
Assist with marketing, including updating the International Student Life website and social media accounts as needed.
May supervise program staff, volunteers, and student assistants.
