About The Position

SEC Energy is seeking a Parts Coordinator to support its Watford City, North Dakota office. The role serves as a frontline inside sales representative and also handles purchasing and warehouse responsibilities for midstream compression packages. The coordinator processes parts orders and quotes, purchases parts, supports warehouse receiving, maintains inventory records, and handles vendor returns and credits. The position works across office, assembly and fabrication shop, and field environments, with travel when required.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
At least 2 years of experience in the field or a related area.
Proficiency in Excel, Access, Word, Microsoft Office, and other required software.
Ability to calculate amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, and volume, and apply basic math concepts.
Ability to determine an appropriate course of action in complex situations not addressed by existing policies, procedures, or protocols.

Nice To Haves

Associate of Arts degree (preferred, not required).
SAP experience.
Knowledge of Ariel compressors and Caterpillar engines.

Responsibilities

Process emergency and routine parts orders for the technical service field team.
Process parts quotes and orders for internal and external customers.
Create purchase orders based on parts needs and submit them to appropriate vendors.
Suggest parts recommendations to external customers.
Support the warehouse team in receiving and validating orders to ensure delivery accuracy.
Maintain appropriate inventory records.
Expedite critical parts when needed.
Process vendor return authorizations for damaged and poor-quality products.
Make inventory corrections, adjustments, and price changes.
Maintain and track core returns to vendors for credits.
Assist with quarterly parts inventory processing.
