The mission of this position is to lead the planning and implementation of strategies for quality management, conduct tests for the digital ecosystem, and define and implement all processes related to software testing. This includes working with and communicating automation objectives to quality control executives, maintaining an updated catalog of reports to identify improvements, and executing automation test results. The role involves collaborating with DevOps/build engineers to ensure test integration with build tools and seeking opportunities to enhance productivity.
Requirements
- University degree in Engineering or Technology.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in an engineering role.
- Proficiency in UI test automation, database testing, and web service testing.
- Experience with test software configuration such as JUnit, JMeter, Selenium, Xray, Tosca, Appium.
- Experience in developing and configuring automated test scripts and maintaining automated test environments.
- Experience in establishing an automated test framework in a DevOps environment.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with SAFe and Agile practices.
- Experience in code management and versioning using Git.
- Experience with CI/CD principles and involved tools.
- Understanding of Sonarqube results and Splunk logs.
Responsibilities
- Designs and creates test conditions and scripts to address business and technical requirements.
- Supports the creation and maintenance of automation frameworks (UI, services, databases) as needed.
- Identifies and implements automation tools and frameworks based on the Digital Ecosystem lifecycle for teams to create automated scripts and test cases.
- Develops scripts, utilities, and programs as needed to support more automated execution.
- Utilizes existing tools and techniques to execute test cases and create scripts.
- Maintains a catalog of reports to identify areas for improvement in training and development.
- Executes and analyzes automation test results.
- Maintains and updates the regression test suite and automated functional test suites.
- Continuously innovates and implements new engineering solutions to improve test coverage and productivity.
- Works with DevOps and build automation engineers to ensure automated tests and feedback are integrated with build tools like Azure Boards.
- Maintains QC/ALM (Application Lifecycle Management).
- Coordinates with UAT (User Acceptance Testing) to provide support and clarifications.
- Evaluates automation opportunities, ensures automation implementation, and seeks additional engineering opportunities to improve productivity.
