The mission of this position is to design, implement, and manage Data Administration solutions (Master, Transactional, Reference, and Metadata) from both a technical and Data Governance perspective, addressing business requirements and ensuring their lifecycle across AC's different domains (Customers, Products, etc.), so that the required information can be used for fact-based decisions, ensuring quality, availability, and integrity.
Requirements
- University degree is required, preferably in systems or related fields.
- Advanced English (Reading, Writing, and Conversational).
- Advanced knowledge in Data and Information Management tools, such as MDM (TIBCO EBX), Data Quality, Data Catalog, Data Governance, etc.
- Advanced technical knowledge in SAP data sources (S/4 Modules MM, SD, CRM, etc.).
- Medium-advanced technical knowledge in TIBCO EBX and JAVA language (desirable).
- Ability to model and communicate complex ideas to different audiences (interaction with multidisciplinary teams).
- Skill in managing highly complex problems and analyzing them from different perspectives.
- Strong communication and persuasion skills, to influence others at different levels of the organization and ability to maintain long and lasting relationships.
- Ability to translate business requirements into data dependencies or needs.
- Ability to think outside current processes, roles, or tools to propose optimized ways of working.
- Teamwork, planning, and project management.
- Knowledge in DAMA or TDWI – Data Governance Methodologies.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of business processes (Commercial, Supply Chain, Finance) is a plus.
- Experience in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods industry.
- Experience in global projects.
- Experience leading data security and regulatory compliance projects (desirable).
- Knowledge and experience working on how to apply local data protection laws in countries such as Mexico, Ecuador, Peru, Argentina, and the United States (desirable).
- Regulatory frameworks: Local data protection laws (desirable).
- Data transfer security practices (encryption) (desirable).
Responsibilities
- Implement and ensure technical improvements in processes to guarantee the correct functioning of Data Governance.
- Design and document standards and rules for the correct functioning of the Data Lifecycle, considering the particularities of each business unit within AC.
- Ensure and maintain the effective operation of quality and administration solutions for master, transactional, and analytical data processes, to guarantee information maintenance according to established standards, always promoting a Data Driven culture.
- Implement and develop tools that enable the implementation of Data Governance within AC, such as Data Catalog, MDM, and Data Quality in all AC Business Units.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations such as the Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties in LATAM and USA, and develop strategies for compliance with data protection laws in each country where AC has a presence.
- Lead initiatives to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data.
- Implement security controls to mitigate risks in the transfer and handling of data to third parties.
- Coordinate with technical and legal teams to ensure the security and legality in the use of data.
- Train and sensitize teams on data security and regulatory compliance issues.
