About The Position

The position's mission is to maintain and communicate the Data Governance framework and strategy within Arca Continental for managing the lifecycle of different data domains. It ensures that AC's information within information systems is accurate, private, available, and usable by developing, publishing, and auditing standards, rules, glossaries, and processes, working in conjunction with AC's operations.

Requirements

  • Minimum Education: Professional
  • Profession: Administrative Informatics Licentiate, Computer Engineering, Informatics Engineering, or related fields.
  • Languages: Advanced English (Reading, Writing, and Conversational)
  • Experience: Positions: Coordinator or Analyst
  • Functions: +2 years in master data management, MDM, data quality, databases, documentation of processes and data standards, execution of audits on databases.
  • Systems or Applications: SAP Modules MM/SD - Expert, Excel Management - Expert, Use of EBX MDM or similar tools for master data management (SAP MDG, Informatica, STIBO, etc.), Use of SQL, T-SQL, Python languages for developing programs / data models for data quality measurement - Expert
  • Hard Skills: Verifiable knowledge of the meaning and application of data governance - Expert, Data quality measurement - Expert, Data governance roles - Expert, Documentation of data standards and business processes – Expert, Fundamental understanding of data, tables, data flows, rules, and standards - Expert

Responsibilities

  • Maintain, communicate, and improve the Data Governance framework and strategy within Arca Continental to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
  • Measure/Audit and communicate KPIs and controls for data quality monitoring.
  • Maintenance of the data dictionary, standards, and rules according to reforms in local and global laws (Personal Data Protection Law), international standards (GS1, ISO), etc.
  • Effectively communicate the data governance framework to the organization using digital tools and communication strategies developed in conjunction with the corporate communication area.
  • Document, analyze, and update standards, data rules, processes, and glossary that allow for the measurement of data quality and degree of standardization.
  • Define, in conjunction with Data Owners and Data Stewards from various functional areas, standards, data rules, glossary, and procedures to ensure best practices for data management and governance.
  • Identify areas of opportunity within business processes and lead improvement projects to ensure data quality.
  • Design, coordinate, and implement massive data cleansing initiatives.
  • Ensure, Monitor, and Execute Arca Continental's Data Governance strategy to avoid duplication and rework in various areas (Business, IT, Service Center) in order to reduce operational errors and improve service levels to our internal and external clients.
  • Ensure the alignment of rules defined by Data Owners and Data Stewards does not conflict with other data rules.
  • Ensure data rules and procedures are adopted after their documentation and approval. Manages sessions with various business areas for understanding and mapping data processes.
  • Manage and Know Data Governance best practices to ensure a global strategy is in place, facilitating data integration between countries and operations. Continuously updating and staying at the forefront of best practices according to global standards for data governance and management.
