About The Position

Cooks at The Carnegie prepare and present high-quality food for residents, guests, and associates to support an excellent restaurant-style dining atmosphere. The role includes preparing cuisine according to menus, production sheets, and recipes, maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen, delivering invoices to the Dining Services Director, and keeping required records of meals served and food and supplies used. The schedule is 1:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. The employer is Kisco Senior Living, an award-winning senior living company. Offers are subject to successfully passing a drug screen, TB test, and background check.

Requirements

• Have one to three years of cooking experience.
• Must have Food Handler’s certification as required.
• Offers of employment are subject to successfully passing a drug screen, TB test, and background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist in producing creatively designed cuisine.
• Cook according to menus, production sheets, and recipes, with consideration.
• Maintain the kitchen and food preparation areas in a clean and sanitary manner.
• Deliver all invoices to the Dining Services Director in a timely fashion.
• Maintain records of meals served and records of food and supplies used, as required.
