About The Position

Cooks at The Carnegie prepare and present high-quality food for residents, guests, and associates, helping create an excellent restaurant-style dining atmosphere. The role includes producing creatively designed cuisine, following menus and recipes, maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen, and keeping required records. The listed schedule is 1:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Requirements

• Have one to three years of cooking experience.
• Must have Food Handler’s certification as required.

Nice To Haves

• High school graduate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the production of creatively designed cuisine.
• Cook according to menus, production sheets, and recipes.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen and food-preparation area.
• Deliver all invoices to the Dining Services Director in a timely fashion.
• Maintain records of meals served and of food and supplies used, as required.
