About The Position

The Cook provides food and nutritional services that meet residents’ nutritional and therapeutic needs in a sanitary and safe environment, while meeting or exceeding standards set by regulating agencies. The position is scheduled for 5:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Requirements

• Ability to read, understand, and follow standardized recipes.
• Basic understanding of sanitation and workplace safety regulations, or ability to learn them.
• Basic understanding of food-handling techniques, preparation, and cooking procedures, or ability to learn them.
