A deep understanding of ingredients, presentation, and timing is essential, along with a collaborative mindset and respect for the hierarchy of the kitchen. Requirements

1-2 years of previous pizza cooking experience is preferred
Bi-lingual is a plus
Knowledge of health and sanitation standards
Proper cooking techniques and knife skills
Food knowledge
Able to obtain/maintain necessary licenses and/or certifications as required by local gaming regulations.
Able to obtain/maintain Food Handlers Serv Safe certifications as required by the Lake County Health Department regulations.

Responsibilities

Execute daily prep and service with precision and consistency under the guidance of the Executive Chef and Sous Chefs, with a focus on traditional American cuisine.
Prepare classic American dishes such as burgers, chicken, flatbreads, and seasonal comfort food favorites.
Utilize scratch cooking techniques, grilling, roasting, and work with fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
Participate in line checks.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in all kitchen areas.
Ensure prep and service align with the Chef’s standards.
Follow all health and safety regulations.
Support daily sanitation routines.
Assist in educating front-of-house staff on daily specials.
