Requirements

  • 1-2 years of previous pizza cooking experience is preferred
  • Bi-lingual is a plus
  • Knowledge of health and sanitation standards
  • Proper cooking techniques and knife skills
  • Food Knowledge
  • Able to obtain/maintain necessary licenses and/or certifications as required by local gaming regulations.
  • Able to obtain/maintain Food Handlers Serv Safe certifications as required by the Lake County Health Department regulations.

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency in preparing classic American dishes such as burgers, chicken, flatbreads, and seasonal comfort food favorites is essential.
  • Experience with scratch cooking techniques, grilling, roasting, and working with fresh, locally sourced ingredients is highly valued.

Responsibilities

  • Execute daily prep and service with precision and consistency under the guidance of the Executive Chef and Sous Chefs, with a focus on traditional American cuisine.
  • Participate in line checks.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in all kitchen areas.
  • Ensure prep and service align with the Chef’s standards.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations.
  • Support daily sanitation routines.
  • Assist in educating front-of-house staff on daily specials.
