About The Position

As a Food Expeditor for L’Américain, you play a critical role in ensuring seamless communication and efficient coordination between the kitchen and front-of-house team. In this fast-paced environment, you will oversee the timely and accurate delivery of food orders, ensuring every dish meets quality standards and reaches guests promptly. Your attention to detail, sense of urgency, and ability to prioritize multiple orders will help create an exceptional dining experience for every guest. Requirements

1 year of experience as food expeditor or similar position
In-depth knowledge of all relevant health and safety guidelines and regulations
Hands-on experience with a variety of kitchen equipment tools
Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
Team player
Good time-management skills
Great interpersonal and communication skills
A client-oriented mindset
Must successfully complete all required training courses and submit the corresponding certificates to the Food & Beverage Department prior to beginning departmental training.
Able to obtain/maintain necessary licenses and/or certifications as required by local gaming regulations.

Nice To Haves

Bi-lingual preferred
Food Handler certification preferred
BASSET certification preferred

Responsibilities

Ensure every guest receives the right meal at the right time by coordinating the flow of food between the kitchen and dining room.
Inspect orders for accuracy and presentation.
Run food to tables as needed.
Assist Food Runners with timely service.
Set up, stock, maintain, and close the Expeditor line.
Complete required Health Department time and temperature logs.
Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe work area.
