About The Position

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking individual to join our kitchen team as a Steward. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. They must be a team player with a strong work ethic, capable of performing repetitive tasks while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety. Physical stamina, time management skills, and the ability to follow instructions are essential. A positive attitude and a commitment to supporting overall kitchen operations are key to succeeding in this role. Similar job titles include Dishwasher, Dishroom Attendant, and Kitchen Porter.

Requirements

3-6 months experience preferred
Able to obtain/maintain necessary licenses and/or certifications as required by local gaming regulations.
Carry and balance trays of beverages
Lift up to 25 - 30 lbs
Stand for long periods
Navigate crowded spaces
Flexibility in bending and reaching
Adaptability to casino conditions, including bright lights and noise

Nice To Haves

High School/ GED preferred
Bi-lingual is a plus

Responsibilities

Scrape and clean dishes, silverware, and glassware by hand or using an automatic dishwasher.
Wash pots, pans, and trays.
Sweep and mop kitchen floors.
Remove all trash from kitchen areas.
Ensure the dish room is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized.
Provide excellent service to both internal and external guests, maintaining a professional and helpful attitude at all times.
Perform additional reasonable duties to support the overall cleanliness and efficiency of the kitchen.
