About The Position

Ian’s Pizza is hiring a Cook for its Harbor District restaurant, a fast-paced, high-volume local pizza shop. The team will train the Cook to prepare pizzas, from stretching dough and adding toppings to baking them. The role also helps keep the kitchen clean and stocked, completes shift checklists with coworkers, and assists wherever needed to keep the restaurant running smoothly. No experience is required; previous kitchen or pizza-cook experience is a plus. Ongoing training and opportunities for promotion are available.

The restaurant is open Wednesday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. General shifts include lunch (9/10 a.m. to 4/5 p.m.) and dinner (4/5 p.m. to 10 p.m.). Ideal candidates are available for weekday dinners and weekend shifts. The restaurant is located at 2055 S 1st St, Milwaukee, WI 53207.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.; IDs are required at orientation.
• Able to stand and walk and be on their feet for long periods.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Able to work with common allergens, including gluten, dairy, and eggs.
• Comfortable using ovens, knives, and other kitchen equipment.
• Comfortable working in varying temperatures.
• Comfortable working in a loud, fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Availability for weekday dinners and weekend shifts is ideal.

Nice To Haves

• Previous kitchen or pizza-cook experience is a plus.

Responsibilities
