Harbor District Production Line Worker
About The Position
The Production Line Worker helps make frozen pizzas for distribution across Wisconsin at a high-volume production facility in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The role prepares dough, sauces, meats, and other ingredients; assembles pizzas on a semi-automated production line; and packages and freezes finished pizzas. The facility also supplies pizzas for a small storefront’s weekday lunches. This is hands-on production work involving extended periods of stretching dough, weighing cheese, and topping pizzas. The worker follows food safety, cleanliness, and quality standards and works with a team in a fast-paced environment. Production operates Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.; flexible availability within those hours is ideal. Part-time hours are available, with opportunities to cross-train in the restaurant for additional hours.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and provide required IDs.
- Able to stand and walk for long periods.
- Able to regularly lift up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable working with food allergens such as gluten, dairy, and eggs; ovens; knives; and industrial kitchen equipment.
- Comfortable working in varying temperatures and loud, fast-paced environments.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in pizza kitchens, food or bakery production, or large-scale catering is a plus.
- Flexible availability during production hours, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
