About The Position

The Controls Technician (Lead) will be responsible for troubleshooting BAS systems, programming controls, and performing testing and commissioning of building automation systems. This role involves working closely with installations, start-up, and termination of equipment and programs, as well as manipulating current installed BAS programs. The technician will also communicate with building owners, end users, and general contractors, and work effectively in a team environment.

Requirements

Well versed in troubleshooting controls BAS systems
Knowledge of controls programming and experience rewriting sequences
Fundamental understanding of testing building automation systems
Strong understanding of commissioning protocols and point to point check outs
Work closely with controls installations and start up/termination of equipment and programs
Troubleshoot and manipulate current installed BAS programs
Communicate efficiently with building owners as well as end users, and general contractors
Ability to work in a team environment
