About The Position

The Controls Service Technician supports customers by responding promptly to service calls and performing service work. The technician maintains a standard inventory of parts and tools in the service vehicle, keeps service invoices available to document work performed and parts used or sold, and maintains the vehicle in safe operating condition. The role also involves building and maintaining positive relationships with existing and prospective customers.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of experience as a Technician is desired.

Nice To Haves

• Enrollment in or completion of an HVAC or Electrical Apprenticeship Program is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and maintain positive relationships with existing and potential customers.
• Maintain a standard inventory of parts and tools on the service vehicle.
• Maintain an adequate supply of service invoices to record work performed and parts used or sold.
• Keep the service vehicle in good, safe operating condition and perform normal servicing.
• Report major repairs or reconditioning needs to the Manager.
• Respond promptly to service calls dispatched through Service Administrators.
