Controls Service Technician
About The Position
The Controls Service Technician performs dispatched service work, maintains customer relationships, and keeps the service vehicle, tools, parts, and service documentation ready for use. The role also involves maintaining the vehicle in safe operating condition and reporting major repair or reconditioning needs to the Manager. HTS Engineering Ltd. is an independent commercial HVAC manufacturers’ representative with 20 locations in the United States and Canada. The company states that it is committed to the success of employees, suppliers, customers, and end users involved in HVAC system selection, design, purchase, installation, and maintenance.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Two years of experience as a Technician is desired.
Nice To Haves
- Enrollment in or completion of an HVAC or Electrical Apprenticeship Program is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Initiate and maintain positive relationships with existing customers and potential new customers.
- Maintain a standard inventory of parts and tools on the service vehicle.
- Maintain an adequate supply of service invoices to record service work performed and parts used or sold.
- Keep the service vehicle in good, safe operating condition, perform normal servicing, and report major repair or reconditioning needs to the Manager.
- Respond promptly to service calls dispatched through Service Administrators.
