About The Position

The Contracts Administrator supports the preparation, processing, and administration of contracts, bids, and proposals in accordance with company policies and applicable regulations. This role provides administrative and documentation support throughout the contract lifecycle, helping ensure accuracy, compliance, and organized recordkeeping across all contract-related activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
  • 2-3 years’ contracts administration experience
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • aerospace industry experience preferred
  • Knowledge of international contracting including ITAR, EAR and FCPA preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with short response times
  • Ability to handle multiple activities, contracts, and customers simultaneously
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both internally with technical staff, peers, and executive management as well as externally to customers, industry peers, and competitors
  • Prolonged periods sitting or standing in an office environment
  • Able to travel <10% of the time
  • All candidates selected will be subject to background investigation and drug screen
  • To conform to Export Control Requirement under U.S. Government International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) you must be a U.S Person (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.

Responsibilities

  • Review contract terms and supporting documentation to help identify potential risk or compliance issues for further evaluation.
  • Compile and organize supporting materials and agreement documents related to contracts to verify completeness and compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Serve as a point of contact between the organization and subcontractors to help facilitate the administrative implementation of contracts.
  • Maintain and organize contract files and records to support compliance with reporting and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in documenting and updating contracting policies, controls, and procedures in accordance with corporate objectives and requirements.
  • Coordinate and communicate with Finance, Human Resources, Pricing, Business Development, and other functional areas to support the implementation of contracting process improvements.
  • Keep abreast of applicable laws, government regulations and industry guidance that impact contract requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned
