Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; legal background or JD is an asset.
  • Minimum 5 years of contract management experience in EPC or comparable industrial projects.
  • Proven success in change order and claims management.
  • Fluency in French and English, with strong negotiation capability in both languages.
  • Strong commercial and communication skills with a proactive, solution oriented mindset.
  • Able to work independently, manage deadlines, and perform under pressure.

Responsibilities

  • Lead day to day administration of customer agreements with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Manage contract activities from proposal through execution, claims, closeout, and warranty phases.
  • Develop and execute claim strategies, including notices, amendments, and change orders.
  • Define and implement subcontract flowdown requirements with Legal and Supply Chain.
  • Support Project Managers with contractual analysis and change order preparation.
  • Monitor changes and deviations to protect and enforce contractual rights.
  • Coordinate with Legal on major claims and recommend solutions to complex issues.
  • Prepare contract deliverable matrices and present key content during project kickoffs.
