Digital signatures are no longer just a productivity tool—they are a foundational element of digital trust, accountability, and risk management, particularly in an era of AI‑generated content and increasing impersonation risks. Portage’s signature solutions are designed to provide strong assurance of signer identity, document integrity, and legally defensible proof that stands over time. We are seeking a Product Manager – Digital Signature & Trust Solutions to own and evolve this core product line. This role is responsible for shaping both the Mid to long‑term strategic direction and the day‑to‑day execution of our , ensuring they remain trusted, compliant, and market‑relevant across regulated and professional markets. You will work closely with the Chief Product Officer (CPO), Product Strategy, Product Operation Leads, Engineering, Design, and external stakeholders to define the product vision, drive roadmap execution, and ensure strong adoption and financial performance.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in Product Management or Product Strategy roles
  • Experience delivering high‑assurance desktop signing using locally managed cryptographic certificates in regulated environments.
  • Experience delivering e‑signature workflow solutions that balance ease of use, trust, and compliance across regulated environments.
  • Strong customer‑centric mindset with experience translating regulatory and trust requirements into product outcomes
  • Demonstrated ability to balance long‑term strategy with hands‑on execution
  • Experience presenting to senior leadership, steering committees, or executive forums
  • Digital signatures, PKI, and certificate lifecycle management
  • Identity and Access Management (IAM) concepts and authentication models
  • Compliance, auditability, and non‑repudiation requirements
  • Awareness of AI‑driven risk, fraud, and identity challenges
  • Experience working in Agile product environments
  • Experience with desktop or installed software products, including lifecycle management, distribution, and coexistence with cloud-based solutions.
  • Experience with API-driven or platform-based products, including integrations and partner ecosystems.
  • Experience collaborating with legal, risk, and compliance stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Act as an outward‑facing, visionary leader shaping the 1–3 year direction and market viability of the digital signature portfolio
  • Partner with the CPO to define and evolve the long‑term product vision, aligned with customer needs, regulatory trends, and market dynamics
  • Anticipate market shifts, competitive threats, and disruptive technologies—particularly those driven by AI‑related risk, fraud, and automation—to guide investment priorities
  • Evaluate and recommend how AI can be leveraged responsibly across product capabilities, operations, and delivery
  • Conduct industry research, competitive analysis, and customer insight analysis to identify strategic growth opportunities
  • Collaborate with other Product Managers (PM), Product Operation Leads (POL), and Design to influence multi‑year roadmaps and innovation pipelines
  • Align product direction with corporate strategy, executive objectives, and investor expectations
  • Prepare and present strategic proposals to the Product Steering Committee (PSC) and Executive Leadership Team
  • Champion a culture of foresight, trust, and innovation across the product organization
  • Own the end‑to‑end product lifecycle, from discovery and ideation through delivery, adoption, and continuous evolution
  • Perform market research, competitive comparisons, and partner evaluations
  • Own and continuously maintain the product roadmap, balancing near‑term delivery with long‑term strategy
  • Lead ideation and early feature classification using MoSCoW, and drive RICE scoring at the PSC level
  • Ensure alignment between roadmap execution and strategic objectives
  • Partner closely with POL, Engineering, and Product Design & Experience to finalize requirements and delivery scope
  • Gather and synthesize input from customers, partners, regulators, and internal stakeholders
  • Prepare product briefs, business cases, and decision materials for PSC review
  • Own product lifecycle planning, including discovery, validation, readiness, and go‑to‑market execution
  • Define and drive Go‑To‑Market (GTM) strategy in collaboration with Marketing, Sales team including positioning, packaging, launch planning, and enablement
  • In collaboration with POL and Product Design & Experience, monitor: Pricing and competitive positioning, Product adoption, System and feature level usage, Churn and retention metrics
  • Use usage analytics and market feedback to continuously refine priorities and roadmap decisions
  • Be accountable for product financial performance, adoption, and growth
  • Evangelize the product vision internally and externally with customers, partners, and industry stakeholders
