About The Position

The Contract Administrator is responsible for providing contract administration support to the Procurement Officer for Professional Service Contracts and Service Authorizations.

  • Five (5) years’ experience in Contract Administration including terms and conditions, both cost and fixed.
  • Three (3) years’ experience with Engineering and Professional Services Task Order Contracts.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains contract administration files for Professional Services.
  • Maintains contract compliance with prime consultants.
  • Oversees the administrative procurement procedures to ensure conformance with ALCOSAN procurement policies.
  • Utilizes data management software to compile and organize data and prepare reports.
  • Assists in the implementing a centralized project management database.
  • Participates in negotiations with Departments on Professional Services costs and terms and conditions.
  • Conducts due diligence as required on successful cost proposals.
  • Assists in reviewing submittments for completeness while maintaining the integrity of procurements.
  • Oversees invoices, as requested by the Project Manager, of professional services. Maintain the documentation of any corrections/concerns. Work with the Project Manager to address/mitigate these concerns.
  • Assists in implementing the Professional Services Procurement Manual, including developing and providing training on contract terms and conditions.
  • Assists in maintaining and updating relevant procurement policies and procedures.
  • Performs closeout activities on completed contracts.
