About The Position

ARCO, a Family of Construction Companies, is seeking a Contract Administrator to join their legal team in St. Louis, Missouri. The ideal candidate will be flexible, self-motivated, efficient, detail-oriented, and possess superior organizational and communication skills. This role involves supporting a fast-paced legal team by managing multiple projects and deadlines.

Requirements

  • 3–10 years of relevant experience in a paralegal, contract administration, or related legal support role.
  • Strong understanding of contract language, legal documentation, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in construction, real estate, transactional law, or contract management strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree, Paralegal certification, or equivalent legal/business experience preferred.
  • Experience with CounselLink, NetDocs, or similar systems is a plus.
  • Positive attitude with flexibility and willingness to collaborate across departments.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with drafting and revising agreements including contracts, NDAs, lease documents, estoppel certificates, affidavits, and other transactional documents in accordance with company policies and guidelines.
  • Review, organize, and finalize contracts, exhibits, and related legal documents for execution.
  • Interpret contract provisions and assist in resolving standard contractual questions.
  • Identify and communicate potential legal, operational, and financial risks associated with contract terms or changes.
  • Coordinate communication between Legal, Finance, Project Management, and external vendors to support project execution and maintain strong working relationships.
  • Support training initiatives by organizing legal resources, preparing presentations, and assisting with operational guidance on contract processes and compliance requirements.
  • Maintain and administer legal databases and document management systems including CounselLink and related tracking tools.
  • Create, update, and maintain standardized contract templates and legal forms.
