About The Position
The Continuous Durarome Line Operator performs routine manufacturing procedures according to written work instructions, operates production equipment, maintains manufacturing-process documentation to meet organizational and regulatory standards, and keeps manufacturing areas, equipment, and materials clean. The role is responsible for plant centrifuge and rotary drying operations, supporting quality and production objectives while maintaining a safe environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to troubleshoot, anticipate, and correct problems associated with plant operations.
- Knowledge of computers, office applications, and accounting software.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of SAP.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to all standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Operate plant centrifuge and rotary drying processes to meet quality and quantity objectives while maintaining a safe environment.
- Read batch cards, work orders, recipes, and formulas to determine drying times and temperatures.
- Weigh and add prescribed solid, granular, or powdered ingredients to the rotary dryer according to the formulation and batch-card instructions.
- Start rotary dryers for the specified amount of time.
- Monitor gauges, dials, and product characteristics, and adjust controls to maintain appropriate temperatures and ingredient flow within prescribed limits.
- Maintain documentation on manufacturing processes in accordance with organizational and regulatory standards.
- Maintain clean manufacturing areas, equipment, and materials.
