About The Position

Atom is seeking a hands-on, execution-focused Content Writer to support thought leadership and press relations. The writer will create bylined content for company leadership, draft press materials, and help share Atom’s perspective with the media. Working closely with the CEO and marketing team in a fast-moving, AI-native startup, the writer will turn ideas, data, and launches into content that builds credibility with founders, domain investors, and the press.

Requirements

• Have 1–3+ years of professional writing experience in PR, communications, journalism, content marketing, or an agency.
• Be able to write strong business thought leadership.
• Have experience writing press releases, pitches, or other media-facing content.
• Write clearly and fact-first, with a strong editorial eye.
• Be comfortable using AI tools to research and draft faster while exercising judgment to make the final product sound human.
• Be able to learn a new industry quickly and write about it with authority.
• Show ownership and speed in a fast-paced startup environment.

Nice To Haves

• Experience ghostwriting for executives.
• Bylines or placements in business or technology outlets.
• Background in technology, startups, branding, or marketing.

Responsibilities

• Write blog articles, LinkedIn posts, and op-eds for company leadership.
• Turn interviews, notes, and rough ideas into polished, publishable pieces.
• Develop points of view on AI, naming, branding, and the domain industry.
• Draft press releases, media pitches, and company announcements.
• Write contributed articles for business and technology publications.
• Draft responses to journalist requests and media inquiries.
• Keep press materials and the company boilerplate up to date.
