Content Designer

Justworks is seeking a curious, empathetic, and passionate Content Designer to join their Product Design Team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in creating new product experiences for customers and contribute to the growth of Content Design. They will be responsible for leveraging content to co-create intuitive user experiences, advising on UX strategy, and developing engaging communications across multiple areas of the customer experience. The Content Designer will also collaborate with cross-functional teams, contribute reusable content design patterns, and demonstrate competencies in customer focus, teamwork, nimble learning, results-driven approach, and creative thinking.

• Leverage content thoughtfully to co-create simple and intuitive user experiences.
• Advise and collaborate on UX strategy; work alongside Product Designers, Product Managers, and Product Marketers to conduct research and workshops to inform how we build and design our product.
• Flex a range of writing skills from technical to conceptual–develop technical expertise and domain knowledge across several functional areas of the product.
• Hands-on writing with a UX lens, focused on delivering engaging, well-crafted communications across multiple areas of the customer experience (e.g., product copy, notifications, product emails).
• Identify user communication needs and balance those with the brand, business, and legal requirements.
• Partner with subject matter experts to explain products/tools/features to end users in an easy-to-understand manner.
• Contribute reusable content design patterns that can be leveraged by cross-functional teams.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
