About The Position

The Content Coordinator will play a key role in organizing, scheduling, and publishing content across The Brick and Brick Mattress Store social media channels. This role supports campaign execution, content production, and ongoing social media management across our national, Quebec, and franchise accounts.

Requirements

  • Experience creating and organizing content for platforms like Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, TikTok, and YouTube.
  • Working knowledge of tools like Canva, Capcut, Facebook Business Suite, and photo/video editing software.
  • Excellent writing, proofreading, and organizational skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a knack for timelines and task juggling.
  • Comfortable collaborating with internal teams, franchise partners, and external contributors.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to adapt content for different audiences.
  • Post-secondary education in marketing, communications, or relevant experience.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in content creation, social media coordination, or marketing support.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with both English and French content an asset.
  • Willingness to appear in content or assist behind the scenes (IG Stories, TikTok, etc.).
  • Retail or franchise environment experience is an asset.
  • Bilingual in English and French is considered a strong asset.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Social Media team by coordinating and scheduling content using management tools (e.g., Sprout)
  • Help maintain The Brick’s national, Quebec, and franchise content calendars with accuracy and alignment to brand strategy.
  • Assist with day-to-day asset organization, templated requests, and versioning needs across regions.
  • Collaborate with the Content Strategist and graphic designers to request, track, and receive creative assets.
  • Proof and format social copy, ensuring it aligns with The Brick’s voice and content pillars.
  • Assist with monitoring post performance and platform insights to support reporting.
  • Execute boosting and paid post setup with guidance from the strategist.
  • Help manage influencer content approvals and posting logistics.
  • Support in-store and in-studio shoots through planning, coordination, and occasional on-site help.
  • Coordinate with franchise partners for local post approvals and content intake.
  • Stay updated on social media trends and identify creative opportunities.
