Content & Communications Manager

Alpha USA
•$65,000 - $75,000

About The Position

The Content & Communications Manager leads the strategy, production, and channel ownership of Alpha USA’s brand storytelling and external communications. The role combines creative instinct with editorial discipline, taking content from concept through publication. The manager develops briefs and executes them, working closely with the Senior Director of Communications & Marketing and collaborating across growth marketing, creative, and experiential teams to maintain a consistent, compelling brand voice. The role owns Alpha USA’s editorial calendar and content strategy across blog, email, social, and long-form content; develops the brand voice; and commissions, briefs, and edits content from staff, freelancers, and ministry partners. It includes writing and editing across formats, interviewing people to surface stories, adapting Alpha Global assets for US audiences, and developing narratives for lead-generation campaigns. The manager oversees the Alpha USA blog and external email communications, collaborates on organic social content, and leads content and communications for organizational moments under the direction of the Senior Director of Marketing and Communications. The role also sets strategy and creates content for use across the organization, partners with the Lead Designer, works with ministry teams to understand audience needs, and brings an audience-first perspective to cross-functional planning. The successful candidate is mission-driven and people-centered, demonstrates ownership from idea through follow-through, and brings clear, steady leadership to complex or ambiguous situations. They embody Alpha’s culture and staff values and can balance agility with governance while supporting teams’ adoption of tools without compromising data or security.
