About The Position

Kimball Midwest is seeking a part-time Contact Center Associate I for its Columbus, Ohio location. This onsite role provides customer service to sales representatives, customers, and internal staff. The position works Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and is ongoing, not temporary or seasonal. The company is looking for someone interested in staying with the team long term and able to reliably work scheduled shifts; dependable attendance is essential.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, AX, and Excel.
• Ability to communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing, with management, sales representatives, customers, and coworkers.
• Ability to read and write small letters and numbers, perform arithmetic calculations, and understand and follow written and oral instructions.
• Ability to work fully onsite in Columbus, Ohio; the role is not remote or hybrid.
• Successfully complete a 90-day orientation period.
• Reliable attendance and ability to work scheduled shifts.

Nice To Haves

• Previous call center or customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to sales representatives, customers, and internal staff.
• Follow company scripts, policies, and quality standards.
• Handle high call volumes while multitasking.
• Provide accurate information about products, services, policies, and procedures.
• Resolve customer issues efficiently and escalate complex cases to appropriate departments when needed.
• Enter orders received by phone, subject to company parameters, and complete special-order entry projects assigned by management.
• Perform monthly call tracking.
• Perform quarterly time tracking.
• Respond on the same day to voicemails, emails, and Teams messages received during working hours.
