About The Position

The Consumer Loan Coordinator supports loan officers in preparing consumer loan requests and ensuring that consumer lending steps flow effectively and efficiently. The role reviews and prepares loan requests, communicates directly with Loan Officers to ensure requests are completed accurately and on time, and adheres to federal regulations, laws, and RCB Bank policies. The position is based in an office environment in a climate-controlled facility that may be high-traffic during peak service times. It involves frequent use of a telephone, computer, and other office equipment, and is typically performed seated at a personal desk. The employee works with general supervision, both independently and as part of a team, and must work effectively with coworkers, staff, and customers. Regular and reliable attendance and the ability to work varying hours are required.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
One year of banking experience.
Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple loan requests simultaneously.
Self-motivation, organization, and excellent decision-making skills.
Ability to work effectively independently and as a team member, with general supervision.
Ability to work harmoniously with diverse coworkers, staff, and customers.
Regular and reliable attendance and ability to work varying hours.

Nice To Haves

Previous loan experience.
Knowledge of loan documentation, loan structuring, and regulatory requirements.
