About The Position

The Consumer Loan Coordinator supports loan officers in preparing consumer loan requests and helps ensure consumer lending steps flow effectively and efficiently. The role involves reviewing and preparing requests, communicating directly with loan officers to ensure timely and accurate preparation, and adhering to federal regulations, laws, and RCB Bank policies. The position is based in an office environment in a climate-controlled facility that may be high-traffic during peak service times. It involves frequent use of a telephone, computer, and other office equipment, and typically requires sitting at a personal desk for most of the day. The employee works with general supervision, both independently and as part of a team, and must work effectively with coworkers, staff, and customers. Regular and reliable attendance and the ability to work varying hours are required.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
One year of banking experience.
Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple loan requests simultaneously.
Self-motivation, organization, and excellent decision-making skills.
Regular and reliable attendance and the ability to work varying hours.

Nice To Haves

Previous loan experience.
Knowledge of loan documentation, loan structuring, and regulatory requirements.
