Consulting Partnerships, Lead

Stuut•San Francisco, CA
•$210,000 - $310,000

About The Position

Stuut is hiring a lead to build and own its consulting and advisory partner channel, turning finance transformation advisors into a consistent source of revenue. The channel already includes relationships with Big 4 firms, major advisory and restructuring firms, and specialized finance transformation and receivables boutiques. Some relationships have generated closed-won revenue, but the company needs a repeatable operating model and new firm relationships. The role is commercially accountable, measured on sourced and influenced revenue rather than consulting utilization. The hire will independently develop partner materials, run quarterly business reviews, create the channel playbook, originate relationships, and negotiate how the channel is structured and priced. The position collaborates with the ISV and Marketplace Lead and the PE channel, while coordinating opportunity boundaries with the BPO and managed-services channel. Stuut particularly seeks a Senior Manager or Director from a Big 4 or major advisory firm with relevant finance transformation, working capital, order-to-cash, or CFO advisory experience. It will also seriously consider candidates who have built technology alliances with major advisory firms from the vendor side or moved from a Big 4 practice into software or fintech go-to-market. The role offers top-of-market salary and equity, along with benefits for U.S.-based full-time employees.

Requirements

  • Senior Manager or Director experience at a Big 4 or major advisory firm, with at least 5 years in finance transformation, working capital, order-to-cash, or CFO advisory.
  • Understand how the candidate’s firm operates, including alliance funding, partner credit, software recommendations in client deliverables, and internal influence.
  • Have sold or shaped engagements with CFOs and Controllers and be able to discuss working capital with a CFO without a deck.
  • Understand where technology fits within a finance transformation engagement and be candid about where it does not.
  • Want to move from advising to owning a channel and be prepared to carry a revenue number.
  • Be able to structure referral, co-sell, reseller, and white-label agreements and explain the chosen economics and trade-offs.
  • Be resourceful and comfortable building from a blank page without an inherited playbook.
  • Communicate in a direct, human way rather than using corporate alliance-brochure language.
  • Live Stuut’s core values: Face the Bear, Think Independently, Hard Work Creates Room, and Stand In Front Of The Truck For Your Customer.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience building technology alliances with Big 4 or major advisory firms from the vendor side, with specific firms, counterparts, signed agreements, and measurable revenue outcomes.
  • Experience moving from a Big 4 practice into a software or fintech go-to-market role.

Responsibilities

  • Own Stuut’s consulting and advisory channel end to end, including Big 4 firms, major advisory and restructuring firms, and specialized finance transformation and receivables boutiques.
  • Maintain the boundary with the BPO and managed-services channel by routing BPO-originated opportunities and flagging accounts where advisory firms and BPOs overlap.
  • Convert existing relationships from ad-hoc introductions into signed, tiered agreements with joint motions, named counterparts, and escalation paths.
  • Originate new firm relationships through direct outreach, senior-level networking, and targeted industry presence, including at firms where the candidate has no prior relationships.
  • Learn and navigate each firm’s alliance funding, partner-credit, engagement-scoping, and delivery processes to position Stuut appropriately.
  • Structure and negotiate referral, co-sell, reseller, and white-label commercial frameworks, including multi-year agreements with annual minimums.
  • Build partner enablement materials, including positioning decks, customer case studies, standard SOW configurations, and objection handling.
  • Partner with the ISV and Marketplace Lead to determine when SI-led deals should transact through hyperscaler marketplace agreements.
  • Partner with the PE channel on finance transformation opportunities at sponsor portfolio companies.
  • Own channel attribution and reporting in HubSpot, distinguishing sourced from influenced revenue by firm and maintaining clean stage tracking.
  • Represent Stuut at firm events and industry conferences and develop a point of view on advisory-led finance transformation.
