AI Partnerships Lead

Blue Rose Research•San Francisco, CA

About The Position

Blue Rose Research is hiring an AI Partnerships Lead to build external relationships, help lead AI client work, and coordinate AI research and advice across the firm. The role bridges AI safety researchers, technologists, and philanthropic funders with policymakers, Hill staff, and political strategists. The Lead will meet with AI safety organizations, funders, and allies, identify their information needs, and translate conversations into research questions that can be answered through polling and message testing. Reporting to the Director of External Affairs, the Lead will coordinate AI-related projects and track incoming AI questions across Blue Rose to help set research priorities and deliver useful guidance to clients and partners. The role works closely with firm leadership and the research team to determine what to study, share findings with partners, and help ensure research informs real decisions. It includes frequent in-person meetings and regular travel between San Francisco and Washington, DC. Blue Rose is a remote team with offices in NYC and DC and regular in-person meetups; there is a strong preference for a candidate based in San Francisco or Washington, DC. Blue Rose Research builds data and AI tools to help Democrats win elections. Its team combines engineering, data science, and political strategy to support campaigns and progressive organizations. Candidates must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States. The role is currently collecting resumes, with active hiring likely to begin in December; details may be revised when hiring begins.
